Tracker Mounting Instructions

Your friends and family can watch you here: www.iboattrack.com .

If you are racing, then Click “Race Tracking” at the top of the page then Click on the link to the race that is appropriate.
If you are in our Cruising Service, then Click on “Cruising Boats”, then Click “View All cruisers” at the top of the page. Now scroll down to the boat you are interested in and click the “Go” button next to your boat’s voyage.

Mounting Instructions

- Please keep the tracker outside at all times
- The tracker must lie flat – less than a 45 degree angle is ok.
- The tracker must remain right side up (Velcro side down).
- You can use the supplied Velcro strips or tie it down – it’s your choice
- The adhesive on the Velcro strips is very strong, even on the roughest deck
- The tracker is water resistant but not waterproof
- Previously, skippers have mounted the tracker on the following places:
On top of a hatch
On top of a radar dome (no interference occurs with either system)
Under a plexi-glass or lexan hatch (tracker must be right-side up)
Under a dodger (the tracker will send a signal through canvas)
On deck, under the boom (the tracker will send a signal through all of the rigging and sails)
In (or on) a life raft, (if the life raft is outside, onboard)
Anywhere else on deck where you feel is a proper place to mount it

For cruisers: Please mail the tracker to the address below.

For racers: Please mail the tracker, no later than May 19th 2008, to the address below.

Good Luck!
